Barcelona would have had very little experience of losing two big games on the bounce. This is a new scenario for them, and their game against us is their only route to keeping their season alive.
This is a team used to having everything go their way so now they have to react to a huge pressure situation.
Great news Madrid beating Barcelona

Not sure about this , they ll be fired up for sure but it could mean they are more nervous .... Is Drogba available ? our final thhird play was not incisive today , I do feel we will still get the job done at the camp Nou...heres hoping

I don't think Drogba is injured at all. Disinformation tactics before the 2nd Leg, he'll be there.

summer69 i absolutely do not give a monkeys about the purists of football! As one of our fans pointed out, everyone was jumping up and down when England got a smash and grab against Spain a year back playing exactly the same tactic as we did on Wednesday but we got criticism from all ends when we did it. I guess they were disappointed we didnt apply the same naive tactics Utd & Arsenal have applied in the past against them. Credit to Arsenal for their one win against them though. Also Madrid played well tonight. We dont have the quality of players they do so we have to defend for our lives and smash and grab.

Neither do I mate. They announced just after half time tonight that Barca had 78% of the possession in the first half but Real Madrid at that stage had 100% of the goals

Best way to play Barca is to unsettle them with pressing and quick counters. But only Real and to a lesser extent Bayern could do that.
We have to camp. Then hoof.
Mr C, Real look for counters, we look for yardage!

Npe we cant afford to press them as they'l run rings around our players.
i just hope we stay compact and shut them out and then play hoofball.

Honesty. Don't think it makes any difference.
Tuesday is all about us. If we defend as we did on Weds and Madrid did tonight. I honesty believe Barca are powerless. Their gameplan dictates we'll get at least 2 or 3 decent goal scoring opportunites + set pieces, and we only need to score once. If we defend properly for 90 solid minutes, they ain't scoring three, not happening.

i think chelsea's hopes rest on weather or not barcelona put their chance's away. they missed at least 4 clear cut chance's at the bridge and i can see them creating many more on tuesday. so if barcelona find a bit of form and finish chance's like they've been doing most of the season 1 away goal may not be enough for chelsea.
Can't wait for tuesday and good luck.

Torres's Psychologist (U6522)
That maybe true at the start of the game, but if during the game things do not go Barca's way, then doubts will start to emerge, players will try to hard and the crowd will get anxious, I would say if we score first and hold on to that position for 20 mins it coulld be enough.
My first thought was we would need to score twice, but after last night i think 1 goal might do it.
