Scared?

Well, it looks like we may have to face relegation. I'm not going to be writing a long article here. Whatever has happened, happened.

When Muamba hit the deck, I prayed and said that I would take relegation if it meant he would survive. I know I'm not the only one who did it. And whilst I don't believe for a second that my prayer made a difference, I'll stand by the deal I offered.

The division we play in does not define us. Remember the game against Reading at Wembley? When is the last time you felt that excitement and pride watching us in the Prem?

Wherever we end up, I'll be proud to be a Wanderer. And I'll be proud to have you guys alongside me.

Bolton til I die.

Breaders,

Only evidence of something we don't have IF we get relegated at the end of the season. Remember, we're a small club using the majority of our 2nd string for most of the season. This 5 game run in will answer your question matey and we'll all be able to answer that at 10pm tonight. C'mon Lads. <fingerscrossedsmiley>

largehat,

Did they look up for it on Saturday to you? Because they didn't to me.

Swansea aren't a bad side, but at home we should have been allover 'em.

Every 50/50 ball should have been contested like our lads' lives depended on it.

We should have hunted in packs to get the ball back and thrown the kitchen sink forward when we were in possession.

I didn't see any of that and (in my opinion) that stems from a lack of passion.

And for the record, most cliches are grounded in evidential fact. That's how they get to become cliches.

Stoke and Liverpool at home were the only 2 performances that I can think of that we have deserved to win.

In every game we have lost, there isn't a single one where you could argue that we've not deserved to lose.
------------------

You don't pick up 30 points playing well twice all season, this is ridiculous.

Bricks, after the Newcastle game, you said it was the only game we have lost all season where you could say we didn't deserve to lose. At least be consistent in your whining.

I'll give you that one largehat, but don't feel too chuffed as that's one out of 21 we've lost!

It's not good news for us either way. If rookie teams like Norwich & Swansea, with teams that were certainly bottom 3 candidates on paper at the start of the season can flourish, it indicates that the level of the opposition is weaker. But, if you subscribe to the theory that all the teams outside of the top 3-4 have improved immensely to where they are this season ..why are we the only ones goin' backwards?

With or without Lee / Holden .. I still believe we are a million miles away from being anywhere near as good a team as we had 2003-2007 ...and a great chunk of that is the poor management we've had since BSA - from SL, right thru' to OC.

It looks as if we will now pay the price, which is a pity, as we all hoped (and expected) that Owen would be the one to bring back a modicum of success to BWFC. He just hasn't delivered - for whatever reason ...

Also interesting that 6th in the PL beat 2nd in La Liga... Weeks after 6th in La Liga beat 2nd in the PL.

I think there's no differene between PL and La Liga in terms of quality in the league.

Chelsea beat Barca (6th in the PL beat 2nd in La Liga)
Bilbao beat Man U (6th in La Liga beat 2nd in the PL)

I think that was what HH was getting at.... I think.

Does that Bilbao are better than Barca if united beat Chelsea? Are Basel better than city?

If you watched the game you would see Chelsea beating Barca was not about being better it was about luck and grit.

I would say Barca and Madrid are streets ahead of united and city. The only way to do it is look at what eleven you would pick out of the two. Only vidic and rooney would start from united with Scholes giggs and rio on the bench. Barca are better over most of the park. The more worrying thing is Bilbao did not get lucky or dig out one good performance. They took united apart.
