NIreland manager Nigel Worthington claims he saw "many positives" over the course of NIreland 3 Carling Nations cup matches.
3 matches which NIreland lost and managed to concede 10 goals while not being able to score a single goal. (Well Cathcart did manage to find the net but unfortunately for him he scored against his own goalkeeper)!!!!
So what exactly are these "positives" that Worthington witnessed. Was it the performances of young players like Hodson, Thompson,Gorman or Mc Qouid for instance.
Did any NIreland supporters like Nigel take any positives away from this tournament.
Any positives from the Carling Nations Cup!

I thought the article where King Kenny said it was a meaningless tournament was pretty positive

It was "meaningless" depending on which team you supported. Trapatonni , Levin and Speed all thought it was a wothwhile tournament for some reason

As did the handful of fans who attended lol.................

More than a handful made a show of themselves singing sectarian songs in February. Just ask Denver Gage about that night?

Google the Evening Heralds report on the NIreland fans behaviour on the streets around the Aviva stadium before the Carling Nations Cup match against Scotland to see the reason why the IFA and PSNI wouldn't let them travel unsupervised down to the match agains the ROI!!!
I love the way NIreland fans try to throw it back in ROI fans faces that their own fans didn't bother to travel!!! How does that work!!
Wait and see they will be lucky to sell 10,000 tickets for the upcoming Euro qualifier against the Faroes at Windsor Park.

Really, but didn't you say before that ROI fans in the North never travel down to Dublin to support the Republic ?

That doesn't answer my question. You are admitting the fact that a lot of Football fans from the North still travel down to watch the ROI?
