Has lost 6 consecutive matches in slams, but people continue tosay hes 'talented.'
I know a lot of journeymen don't make an impact in slams, but they arent hyped up as big talents, and they have to play tennis to earn a living. Whilst Gulbis is a rich man who doesn't need the money, and his unprofessional approach shows winning doesn't motivate him either.
So what is the point of him playing tennis? Why is he any more significant than an average party animal?

I like Earnest. He is such a character, good-natured, genuine, pleasant tennis to look at, something about that baby face and the unruly arty hair...definitely makes ATP more colourful, shame he isn't winning more.
