m i the only one who thinks our future is infact very bright.... we have players like didi jt lamps etc who can pass their winning mentality to the younger players luiz cahill rambo mata studge lukaku bertrand romeu.... i think we only need 2 or 3 players at the age of 24-25 who can make into the starting lineup and carry on for the next 6-7 years....
if we can win the cl then um very confident that we will win another cl in the next 4-5 years with this crop of players....... yesterday mata said he will try to win another 4or5 trophies so it shows how they are learning from their predecessors...... if we didint win any cups this year then it would have been a different situation but the old guard stood up whenever we needed them and we are very lucky to have cech jt lamps and didi... they all r legends

it would happen anyway.. when ur playing for a team for 6-7 years and winning then i guess uv earned it... at first i was not happy with lamps when avb was fired... but now we all know why he did that... he is playing for us for so long and he knows better than avb what is our standard... once he also said after the game vs city that he hates to look at our position in the table!! and he was right avb was not the right man for us... um saying all these bcoz they are winners n have the right to do so

The younger players will have learned a lot this season from the older players in terms of how to win things, especially in the face of extreme adversity.

I think we do have a very strong youth set up currently - its just that most are not at the current level we want. Give it 2-3 years and I think all of Kalas, Courtois, de Bruyne, Bertrand, and Lukaku will at least be squad players, and those are only the detonates. Sturridge and Romeu are already at least squad players and at their best, good enough to start, while the likes of Bruma, Kakuta, McEachran, PVA etc. are all possibles. And then of course there's the next generation headed by Chalobah and Piazon
