Just been on the Mansfield Town fc website and listened to Paul Cox talking from the heart about his ambition and disapointment at not getting to the play off final ,he hasnt signed a new contract yet Ben !! get in there fast he is your MAN

I've been telling people for ages that Paul Cox is the man we should have at the helm next year.
I've seen first hand what he's achieved at Mansfield and its impressive.
Only problem being can we match his ambition beause Mansfield as a club have far more potential than we do.

He didn't do bad at Eastwood Town either did he Pez ?
You have indeed been telling us and i'd be very happy with him as our manager. I doubt we have the pulling power,potential and ambition Mansfield do and yes although they are Conference they are a bigger club than us. I've tried explaining that to some but they can't see it !

I agree Mansfield are a bigger club than ours and i have the ultimate respect for them but they are a conference team at the end of the day.Paul Cox is not a proven League manager and what honours has he won in football,i dont know of any with all due respect.Listen guys i dont want any chancers to manage our club we had enough with Pesc.Mansfield didnt get to the final of the play offs in the conference,we are a football league club and i would like a manager capable of taking us forward and consolidating our status in league 2.

I know were your coming from but do we honestly believe Ben will shell out enough money to gain us a manager with a proven track record who has won trophies.
I doubt it very much.
Hopefully we will know soon enough who the manager is going to be and that will give us a insight into the chairmans ambition for the club.

The chairmans ambition sould be a top ten finish in league 2 every year and never far away from the play off zone. Thats what the fans want to hear a club with a plan other than make do and not keep filling in the cracks.
