Is he really 'just' the manager?

So steve kean's staying? Who said so...steve kean.

So are the owners. So says steve kean.

Exciting times ahead. Again, a gem from the alchemist.

Seriously, can anyone tell me another manager who has been so confident about keeping his job with a record anything like kean's?

This isn't a man who has taken a plucky little premiership virgin down, he's plummeted with a club who have spent 18 of the last 20 years in the top flight.

I believe the conspiracy theorists. He is not just an employee, he's in on something more sinister.

They might be if you compare them in relation to what is expected of them.

Kean is very lucky to still be in the job. Why did they sack Allardyce?

I though the conspiracy was a load of rubbish but after today i'm starting to believe it .What is happening at Ewood is a joke the board have to get permission from India to just have a meeting with S Kean that says it all he's the Manager and Chairman

Its a horror show for you lot with foreign owners who dont give a monkeys for the game or the club.United and City are in the same boat when it comes to what the owners think of the clubs. The only difference is their successful.

From The Independent:

Graham Jones, MP for the nearby Hyndburn consistuency and a Blackburn supporter, insisted Hunt had paid for the leak with his job – and then offered a new reason for the loyalty shown to the rookie manager.

"Disgraceful sacking of Hunt," Jones tweeted. "On 22 Dec he indicated to me the problem at Rovers was the close relationship between Mrs Desai and Mrs Kean."

Also from that article (and probably taking the thread off-topic, sorry, brovers77):

Kean then further risked his fractious relationship with Blackburn's supporters by arguing against the perception that the Venky's do not have a good knowledge of football.

"No, I don't agree with that," he said. "That's definitely 100 per cent not true. She [Desai] watches every game. You're asking me, do they know anything about football? Yes they do.

I think the one true thing that Venky's have ever said is that he is unsackable.
