You can't compare Kroos to Ozil. Kroos is more of a schweinsteiger type. A powerful and direct creative player. Ozil is all about the pass.

Also, remember when the Schwein was a winger seems absurd now.

He plays deeper a lot of the times.

But in that game he was playing as an attacking mid.

I agree that Ozil is a better player. I'm just saying that over the two legs I feel he outplayed him, that's an indicator of how good he is as a player.

Shame he's German, have you seen the England line up thread? Some people actually want Downing, Carroll, Parker and Crouch to play. Terrible when you consider the talent Germany have:
Kroos, Gotze, Reus, Muller, Khedira, Ozil and Scheiwnsteier are all very talented. Germany for the Euros in my opinion.

I love it when England lose. Have nothing against the country. But I find it hilarious to look at the fans faces and just see their expression. I mean seriously, did they expect something from Carroll, Downing, Welbeck and Young? Deluded.

We have better than those 4 players I mentioned. Parker just runs around like a headless chicken, Carrick is ten times the player. Crouch isn't as bad as the others but we have better strikers.

Need I say anything about Carroll and Downing? They epitomise average. If they weren't Liverpool players nobody would talk about them. I genuinely believe Liverpool fans just want to see England humiliated with their insistence that Gerrard, Johnson, Downing and Carroll should play for us. They'd probably have Henderson in their given the chance.

Carrol isn't even average. He's below par.

everyone has their favourites though, the defence is strong but most of the midfield and attacking positions come down to a choice between average players.
