How bizarre! I saw virtually every minute the guy played for us last season and I saw nothing to suggest that he was anything more than a non-league player from the lower end of the Conference. I can't actually recall a single thing that he did.
My memory is of a guy who would run fast and yet never seem to have control of the ball. He liked to be dispossessed, he could sniff out blind alleys and his crossing and shooting were both atrocious.
He will be rubbish next season for Northampton for 44 games - and score in the 2 games against us doubt.
Whatever next? Gilroy signs for Barcelona? Walker joins Inter Milan?

I'll be honest, my one and only reaction when I read that piece of news on Sky earlier this morning was 'that kid has got himself one hell of an agent!'.
The one appearance of his I truly recall was the cameo up at Morecambe and the hoof high across the area when a drag back would have done the job.
Like you say, it is odds on that he will have two good games next season....

Ha ha ha ha, spot on the kid is useless, couldnt lace his brothers boots. I certainly didnt see him have a decent game for me he was just another pub player.
