The guy is a "proper" manager, when watching his interviews on his understanding of the various ways to coach and interpret the game i am left in awe! This guy is destined for the top jobs, sounds wild but he is so pure in his footballing ideology its scary. However he has missed a trick not going to Liverpool, he is mr pass and move, which coincidentally is the Liverpool groove.
No disrespect to Swansea but Liverpool are a world renowned footballing institution, even now in their poor era they can attract the big big players and investors! As much as i have respect for Swansea, the chance to ascend to a much bigger and greater club would be a chance snapped at by a more ambitious manager.
When you have an "decent" defender having one of the best pass completion rates in the highest league, and the likes of Joe Allen having better pass completion rate than the likes of Mesut Ozil, imagine what devastation he would do at a club with more gifted players!?!
Anyhoo its a mystery, liked i said i like Brendan, but he has missed a trick here, fortunately it wont be his last offer, however to see him at a club like Liverpool would be the most exciting managerial transfer since mourihno going to Real Madrid.

I think it's great to see a manger who so obviously enjoys his job and is happy at the club he manages.
Who's to say that in two or three seasons Swansea won't be above Liverpool in the Prem?

i dont know why he would want to leave a well structured and run club that suits him and his style of football. All to go to liverpool who need pulled apart and need to start again but expect champions league football next season aswell. Hodgson's reputation took a big blow after just 5 months in charge so why would Rodgers take the risk?
He would be best staying at Swansea for another season and wait for a Spurs or Arsenal to come up

lol what a troll article, rodgers is joining liverpool now a bad mistake in my opinion as it will be virtually impossible to get into top 4 next season with below average players.
