Just my fooking luck/what a fooking idiot!
All week i planned to back Huddersfield to lift the trophy at odds of evens with Ladbrokes, until this morning when i attempted to place the bet and the odds had changed to 10/11. Needless to say i was greedy and backed Hudds to win in 90 mins at 17/10. As soon as the whistle blew for full time i knew there was only one outcome and that Hudds would win promotion via extra time/penalties just to pi$$ me off further.
Fair play to Grayson though, top manager and wish him luck for next season. Of course i hope Leeds United top the Championship from day one in a similar fashion to Southampton, but if the terriers are above Leeds at the point when they visit Elland Road, Ken's programme notes will be priceless.
Congratulations to "one Simon Grayson"/

lufc-batty*, in all honesty i reckon it will be a struggle for Huddersfield next season and that they will just be happy to do a Peterborough (and not the 34 points tally either). I can't see them spending crazy money and a lot of the attention will be on Rhodes throughout the transfer window. If they sell it will be a struggle to attract real quality to sign for the club. Alternatively if they keep him, maybe the funds won't be there to upgrade the areas that aren't good enough for championship level.

They have more than just Rhodes they have Smithies and a young spine to the team.
I expect Grayson to increase that average age, but expect him to be backed by his chairman and if he's smart enough to have learnt from his experience at Leeds, could do well next season.

SKB, that could be true. But, I doubt it. I see their
Chairman as being pretty savvy and more than that,
he has his focus on the team. Not Casinos.
I think SG will be backed. Sheff Wed for me though,
are the ones who'll more than likely be kicking more
established Championship teams in the crotch.

I thinks even does will do well, big crowds, momentum and manager who knows this division and has good contacts in the game.

A big well done to Dave Jones who turned the Owls into automatic promotion winners rather than having to endure the playoffs under the useless Megson. I still have my doubts about the manager who blew promotion with Cardiff last season when it looked as if the R's and Bluebirds were the best 2 teams in the league containing class players such as Bellamy, Bothroyd and Whittingham. However loan signings in league 1 consisting of Ranger, Antonio and Treacy suggests they will give promotion 100%.

I don't know if wendies will get promotion but have to be a very good bet for top 6
