Monaco

Worst GP on the calendar?

No overtaking, only thing that changes the running order is rain or safety car (God forbid).

But it really is just an exercise in advertising.

Monaco dictates the calendar.

Monaco is the only race that does not have to pay for it's inclusion.

Monaco is the favourite place for sponsors to entertain their customers.

Monaco is not about succeeding to overtake but succeeding in not crashing.

But F1 is about racing and overtaking not crash avoidance.

Monaco is about 100% precision and accuracy, no other course offers these attributes in such high abundance. The final 10 laps were an absolute joy to behold, the close running of these fantastic drivers was unbelievable

then as soon as it finished the heavens opened...that;d be interesting 5-10 laps sooner.

Could have really helped Hamilton that...with 1 redbull and 1 ferrari more than likely having to wait

SLM, Monaco is cack. Hopeless race. What's the point of a race track where people can't race and can only play follow the leader. Pathetic

I'm all for tradition but it's time to knock that race on the had. The cars outgrew the track long ago. Flippin boring.

I agree, Monaco GP success = get on pole, don't crash.

Even if you are much slower than the people behind you, the track makes it easy to have a very wide car.

I agree with many of the above comments. Why does Monaco have to be the attention-seeker of F1? As much attention is given to off-track events as the race itself. It's like it's the odd one out of all the races on the calendar. Even the podium proceedings are in a completely different order to everywhere else (I admit the trophies are nice though).
The biggest shame is that awesome circuits like Spa where there are several overtaking opportunities plus high chance of rain have been left off the calendar (where's Turkey?) but Monaco is guaranteed to be there every year.
Monaco is unique and has a lot of history but as a spectacle it's as interesting as counting yachts in the harbour. Apart from the Lowes hairpin and the tunnel, I wouldn't miss it if it was dropped.
