So our C team took a pounding on Saturday against a highflying Dutch side, gunning for victory in this summer's Euros.
Silly fixture to agree on with so many players out.
Ah well.
Was talking to Warren Feeney at a Jubilee Fayre on Saturday as you do. He reckons the iFA was mad to agree to the fixture and that MON fecked up fielding the team he did. Reckons some of the squad's fence-sitters will now try to defect to Southern Ireland. Didn't push him on this, but one wonders what he knows.

Ferguson wanted a call up and it didn't happen. He's a decent player and that's it. Trapps didn't fancy him.
OP is a crazy horse.

FOKBAIK:
How can Ferguson defect as he has already played senior games for the IFA? Is it cause he has only featured in friendlies?

That's the long and short of it.

Yes, it's similar to where Adam Barton turned out in a friendly before decising to represent the Republic I think.

The rule should be changed to include any games from u19 upwards be they friendly or competitive!

Of course it should be. If you don't know your own mind by that age, there is something wrong. It avoids time wasting and effective transfering of playing resources, which is what happened in the case of Mr Barton.

There is no chance it will be changed for far greater reasons outwith our wee island. Jim Boyce is the FIFA VP. Do you not think if something was going to change it wouldn't have changed on his watch?
You guys got the dirty end of the stick. Deal with it
