Albion have signed 27 year old Zander Diamond who was captain of Oldham Athletic last season. Zander also played 9 years for Aberdeen and was Scotland U21 captain when he played for them. Oldham apparently couldn't afford to keep him. Will we be able to sing a'Zander Diamond works wonder? I sincerely hope so.

Exciting addition, what a Diamond on jubilee weekend as well !. Gary is doing well so far i think the backroom staff he has apointed are also key to renewed optomism, i feel very pleased so far with developements during the close season .

I too am excited by this latest signing. The right age for an experienced centre-back and one whose CV shows the right attitude for the "new" Brewers ! Really like the way Gary is going with the signings to date. Young players (for their position) with a bit of an "edge" to their personality. Lovin it, I am.

I have too say the manager is certainly making a few people including myself sit up and have a look at what he's trying to achieve. You have to be impressed with what he's done in a short space of time. Can't wait to see who arrives next.
I think there might be a few nice suprises in there and after what wev'e seen so far i don't think we will have to worry about Rowett going along the ex-derby player route.

Gaz certainly talks well on the radio - hope it works out for him @ Burton.
Re: the "ex-derby player route" I think a "current derby player route" IS useful - if the 2 clubs can continue to foster a good relationship it certainly helps both clubs in different ways!
