Birthday dreams!

hey peeps,
its my 20th birthday 2day and i wanted to ask you guys what match you would have most liked to have been at throughout tennis history.
As i only got into the sport around a decade or so ago ive only ever supported feds :D.
So many come to mind (mostly fed wins :P). I guess i would have loved to have seen borg mcenroe match in '80, or any guga match at the french or perhaps feds vs novak at last years french.
so many choices
what would yours be and why?

Oh Leeds, it's a very long story and I 'm not in the mood of repeating it AGAIN!
It's probably still somewhere on v2 (try and type I'm on Centre Court in the search there)

happy birthday.

boris Becker v andre agassi - wimbledon 1995 SF.

Old boris was a set and 4-1 down and getting murdered by the world number one. I remember the commentator bill threllfal saying something like 'look at poor boris, if thats not the look of a broken man i don't know what is, he's just bemused'

how did the great man respond? He got up and changed his tactics, started rallying from the back and when he broke back (still needing another break. which he did get) he raised his arms and the crowd went crazy.

'win the crowd and you win your freedom; !!

Don't remember that match, but sounds like when Nole returned that crazy shot , saved 1st match point and raised HIS hands and the USO crowd got mad ....

Happy Birthday,

As a Jimmy Conners fan, it would have the 1982 Wimbledon final win against McEnroe, 3-2 in sets, 3–6, 6–3, 6–7(2–7), 7–6(7–5), 6–4. What a brilliant match it was.

Happy Birthday Leeds!

Do not worry about 20 feeling old. Give it another 10-15 years and 20 will feel just fine.

Borg-McEnroe at Wimbledon 1980. The first match I vividly remember watching. Made a fan of both tennis and McEnroe of me. Until Federer came along I was certain that McEnroe would remain my all-time favorite player - you just do not get so excited about a player as you get older. Yet, here I am and McEnroe is now just #2 for me.

Borg v Nastase 1976 Wimbledon.

His 1st there but 3rd slam crown overall, where he won the cup without losing one set for the whole championship.

And where we got Nastase's famous quote, "We're playing tennis, he's playing something else"
