Waht will happen nitb when they hang their racquets? Does one need to wait for a player to hang in their racquet to recognize how much talent he/she has? In my opinion its not. Talent is not measured by the number of trophies one collect.
Federer's talent as a tennis player is so great, its almost like it has magical charms of magnitude so high that it just can't be measured and no amount of silverware can makeup for that. Players will come and go, records made and broken, I doubt a player with his skills will ever come. ( At least not in my lifetime )

Too bad for you then, you failed to enjoy the perhaps greatest tennis that will ever be played.

No, too bad for you. If you cant accept that not everybody will love your favorite player then its too bad for you. I for one prefer Nadal's game's to Federer's, its all about preference and i love watching the long rallies in tennis which is one of the reasons i love Nadal.
In my own opinion, Nadal's game is the greatest i have ever seen.

Fair enough. But doesn;t it rattle you to see your champion standing 5m behind the baseline with fear in his eyes cause he doesn;t control the rally and is scared to death that his opponent is going to hit winners. Doesn;t it bother you to see your champion running down balls right and left and just putting back through slice and scrapping hoping his opponent is going to make a mistake cause Nadal generally can't hit winners very easily.
I guess each to their own!

Exactly. you didnt really have to say those things you said previously. This is all that matters. Btw, i dont see any fears in his eyes because i think he his confident enough. And no, it dosent rattle at all, like i said, it is what i enjoy. I checked some clips on youtube to watch the older generations (Agassi, Samprass etc) and just the serve and volley stuff bored the hell out of me, but i realise many people love it which is fair enough!!
So yes, i love him standing '5m behind the baseline' thank you very much..(and btw, he is not 'hoping' his opponent is going to make errors, he knows they will make the errors)
