Most pros will tell you most grunters don't bother them, but that there are a couple on tour who are completely over the top (sharapova interestingly is not one of them).
I know many feel strongly about michelle larcher de britto, but today I heard jovanovski grunt for the first time, I'm sure it's something she's recently introduced and it's horrendous.
She played Lisicki today who complained about it on a number of occasions.
The rules are there to prevent this, I wish the officials would use them.

Hindrance

I did not watch that match but shrieking is annoying. I cannot tolerate Sharapova, this is just not tennis. Her demanours are as annoying as Nadull's.
Umpires are not very bold and so are the adminstrators. I never liked Seles for the same reason. That's why Steffi was the most opular of her generation as she playe tennis how it meant to be.
Kim Clijsters and Henin have been the players I liked other than Graf.
Sloane Stephens look good.

Sharapova is not the worst in my opinion, have you not seen Schiavone play? She has 2 grunts per shot. "yaaaaaaaa..... hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

Jovanovski shouts, but she seems to have only just started doing it.
It's as clear as day and when a player repeatedly points this out to officials it's a shame they don't have the guts to enforce the hindrance rule.

I have just watched the link and it is really annoying to watch her. I hope Liscki has won (haven't cheked the result yet). And it is more annoying and frustrating that umpires do not do anything despite of the rules to stop this.

Lisicki won but that is exactly the point.
When a player points it out what is reason for not warning jovanovski?

@Jovanovski shouts, but she seems to have only just started doing it.

Thats how it happens when tennis starts to become a "tennis show" rather than a sport. Umpires have no power. Gamesmanship is used to win matches. Certain marque players have bigger bigger than the game itself, so much that umpires have to courage to stop them. The Tennis governing bodies are encouraging it for the sake of money the star system fetches. The young players see them and learn the same.
I pointed how how Murray a very quick player suddenly started to take very long time between points since Miami 2012. He ever since has been doing it. Another one is making injuries to distract opponent...
I'm losing interest in Tennis, fast.

Umpires have no power

They do have power, just no courage to use it.
