and you rant about them - in nearly every post you make. it gets very boring, which is probably why people respond in the way they do. you've made your point mate. months ago.

Most people respond in a reasonable manner. Many seeing me point even if they disagree. It's only you that gets the mards on.
Are you Steve Cotterill, or just a close relation?

I think Sutts has a short cut on his pc so that when he types ctrl-S "I can't see why we're persisting with Cotterill, he nearly took our talented squad down. We need to be loyal to the club and get rid of him"

Well Cotterill has hardly overwhelmed since joining us! Poor defensive tactical obsession, screaming like a lunatic from the bench, oversaw a 15 game scorless streak, on the verge of the sack at Pompey!!! So the fact he's still here is enough reason for anyone to want him gone. And he may still be binned in the coming weeks and I doubt many (if any) fans will give him a second thought!!

under extremely mitigating circumstances though

No mention of the state we were in when he came, that we had a first team devoid of pace, that he got McCleary playing his best football, that he tightened up our abject defence, that he got a decent spine into the team with Higginbotham and Guedioura.
I've said I'm not convinced, I saw us win games under Cotterill and came out lamenting at how poor we were whereas there were some games we lost v McClaren (West Ham at home for instance) where defence aside I thought we played good stuff. I just think people on here insist on being black or white. To not admit that Cotterill had a tough job is a little unfair I reckon.
If he goes then so what, if he were offered the Wolves job for instance he'd have jumped too but you can't moan about the bad run and not mention any good stuff.

even i wouldn't say he got everything wrong. But i think it's fair to say that for everything he got right he two things wrong. For every player he got the best out of 2 or 3 massively under performed. For every game we played well in we were poor in two.
I'm also not sure about this eye for player tag he's picked up. Guedioura was a great signing I'll give him that. Higginbotham is a player that we all know all about and was always going to do well. but i suppose credits due for asking the question. Were the rest any good? Big George was big and people liked him but wasn't anything special. Of the players he brought in jan only Guedioura was getting in our best 11.
I still don't think things were as big a mess as people make out when he came in. I know stuff was going on and it was far from perfect. But i think a good NPC manager would have walked in to that dressing room after only 10 games and thought, Ive got enough here to still have a half decent season.

I think Majewski started to improve and has played some of his best football under SC. I've never rated him but I will give credit where it is due and maybe it's because some players wanted out (eg: Chambers) regardless of who was manager
