Can Sonnen do it?

As much as I want Sonnen to win, I don't think he will. I think Anderson might try to fight a little like Machida and try to pop in and out quickly, working Sonnen down.

Either that or Sonnen will take him down and smash his face in. I hope it's the latter.

Anderson is a much better fighter and if he can avoid being taken down Sonnen will get Mauled. If he cant stop Sonnen taking him down i think he'll beat him up for 4 and a half rounds and then Silva will catch him in an arm triangle in the final round. Either way I cant see Sonnen winning this.

Have you seen the press conference last night. When Silva whispers in his ear when they are getting split up apparently he said "your going to die".... I cant wait for this fight!!!

Sonnen is a legend, I saw a Q&A with him recently when the fight was supposed to be in Brazil.

Reckoned he was bringing over a suitcase of presents to make things up to the brazilian fans, bringing them soap, shampoo and toothpaste Then he said did you know the toothbrush was invented in Brasil? If it was invented anywhere else it would be called a teethbrush

Best weigh in ever, when they squared off Silva gave Sonnen a cheeky little shoulder jab to the jaw.

I think Sonnen is the one that's looking intimadated, he's starting to realise that he might pay for all that smack talk.

I dreamt about this fight last night, im so geed up for it im shaking. Silvas problems in the last fight were:

Underestimated Sonnen
Had a rib injury
Faced a man with elevated test

The fight went the way it should have done given those factors, ie one man dominating the other with brute force, but losing concentration.

This time round Silva knows who Chael is, he respects him like he respected Rich Franklin and will have trained and prepped like he did for that fight.

Silva has the fire lit in his gut again, he is ready for war this time and has a point to prove, the spider will of old will return tonight.
