Dos I agree. The only team that will loose will be Celtic in the carve up.

That said there should only be one team that can win the SPL so we should see the benefit of increased prize money also, sure fire european football - in whatever guise it may be is also there, as well as being stick on's for the cups so Celtic need to increase the money coming in to balance this loss...

Either way it can be done.

The biggest loss will be to the product - but that would be the same regardless of Rangers in the SPL or not.

I now expect celtic to push for a change outside of Scottish football in a major way...

No Chance, who will want to play in a one team league? The old Firm rivalry is a big draw for players to come to Scotland.

The money available could easily drop now - so you may only make the same. It won't increase enough for Celtic to become a major force in Europe - thats for sure.
