As the new season gets ever closer, I thought I would canvass opinion as to what people expect to happen this year. Obviously it's early days and much transfer activity still to happen but as things stand what do you reckon?
My thoughts are:
Champions: Blackburn
Promoted: Bolton
Play-offs: Cardiff, Blackpool, Wolves and Leeds (if proposed takeover is completed)
Relegated: Barnsley, Millwall and Peterborough
Dark horses: Burnley
Town to finish: 11th

Looks like we can forget signing Ross McCormack.
According to Wikipedia, McCormack has signed a 4 year deal with Bristol City today for an undisclosed sum?

I think any place above the relegation zone this season would be an acheivement. Thats not to say that we shouldnt aim high but we have to be realistic in our 1st season back with the 'bigger' boys!
A place off finish would be fantastic but i think consolidation this year should be the aim.

dont aim for any sort of finish..
aim for cardiff away...then forest at home etc..
next may is just that, next may...
3 points at cardiff to play for, thats it...
get the players you want now...the january window is a long way off..
looking at games in the future where you might get points is for the bottom 6/7 in the premier league, not for us...
