19.49 That was the last kick of the game, Chelsea have won from a lucky Leighton Baines cross-shot.

Birmingham have taken the lead with 12 minutes to go and its came from Mario Gotze , Van Persies shot was blocked and it fell kindly to Gotze who lashed at it and it went in through a crowd of players. He then pulled it back to Fabregas who found Ba on the left who cut inside and curled it into the bottom corner from 20 yards. Chelsea need another now!

19.15 It is all going off at St Andrews, Villa just then had the chance then to take the lead when Walcott's cross was met by the header of Drogba which was cleared off the line by Glen Johnson. It was then cleared forward and Birmingham countered, Bale got in to the penalty area, cut inside and then looked to be tripped by Schmelzer. Replays showed he infact stepped on Schmelzer. Villa players were livid, Balotelli rushed to the referee screaming his head off. Some words were exchanged by Balotelli and Bale and then Balotelli seemed to of slapped Bale round the face. Bale went down holding his face like he had been shot, the referee gave Balotelli a red card for violent conduct and he couldn't believe it. Anyway on to the penalty, Van Persie steps up...

19.13 Spurs defence has been quality today and Adler has stopped Chelsea from equalizing just then. Martinez found Mata out wide who sent in an in swinging cross, Aguero flicked it on but Adler was there to push it on to the post and Spurs cleared. Is it going to be Spurs' day?

It was a goal of headers as Valbuena over hit his cross but Llorente kept it in play and headed it back in the mixer, Dzaegov headed it against the post which fortunately for Newcastle came off Eden Hazards face and went in.
