JA606 Power? / Greg Pearson

Drove past the Pirelli this evening.

You know the notice board on the corner - the one that advertises the Wedding Fayres and the Christmas Party nights?

Well it has a listing of the forthcoming friendly fixtures - opposition, dates and kick off times.

Now where have I seen that suggested?

And good luck to Greg Pearson, the latest of the leavers to find a new home in the Conference with Grimsby Town.

Highs? The first league goal at Shrewsbury, the first hat trick against Aldershot and a rasping last day drive against......Grimsby.

Lows? Too many balls into feet that bounced off his shins.

Top Scorer in the promotion season makes him another honorary member of the BAFC Legends club.

Good Luck, Greg

Says a lot that many of your leavers are dropping a division!

Now now Marco,Greg was a good servant to our club and a much admired player,i know what you mean though we have been saying it for a long time there was to many conference players at Burton.

Wasn't a dig, was a confirmation of the criticisms, levelled by most Brewers JA606ers, at your ex-boss

Greg - Legend. Good luck at Grimsby.

My favourite goal was that one against Cambridge. Down to 10 men, 2-1, backs to the wall, he ran half the length of the pitch and leathered it home. 3-1 and game over.

We won a lot of penalties in that last season in the Conference. You could guarantee that when Greg picked the ball up and put it on the spot it was only going in one place - the back of the net.

How he could have scored so many at the start of that conference season partnered by Burger Boy Banim I will never know.

JA606 Power?

Jimmy Phillips and Cleveland Taylor are terrible and should never play in a Brewers shirt again.

Thanks for summing Greg up in such a refreshing and honourable way,he so deserves that respect not just from us but all Albion fans.He will be a great asset to Grimsby Town and i hope he scores loads of goals for them and they get promoted so he can come back and visit us.

Sad that Greg has left but correct decision.
I will miss the many good chats i had with his dad Owen.
Hope to catch up with him on august bank holiday.
Will be at grimsby v mansfield.
Glad to see someone at the club has finally got the idea of what advertising is really about.
You will be suprised how many people it will attract.
