Who the hell will come after Murray?

I'm not Murray's biggest fan but I can appreciate that he is singlehandedly putting UK on the map in men's tennis, and helps create a buzz around Wimbledon when he gets through to the second week. Whether you like him or not you can agree with that. The fact that 17 million people watched the final on Sunday, the most since 1990, speaks volumes.

Is there any Brit (preferably English) that looks remotely talented enough to carry on where Murray will leave off when he's done? It was relatively seamless between the Henman/Murray changeover but I'm not so sure after Murray hangs up his boots.

Talent won;t get them anywhere nowadays unless they are of the genius kind like Federer.

They need big legs, big lungs and hard work. Currently from what I saw of teh remaining brits they look like 1990s players, the kind that struggles qualifying for Estoril.

They don't have to win a major or anything, I'm not expecting to see that in my lifetime. If they could get through to a second week on a regular basis that would be a start.

Jonty, at the age of 47 and playing the best tennis of my life, would it be considered too late to throw my hat into the ring and try for the davis cup team?

As in all racket sports, if you are the better player then you stand there and run the younger fitter player all over the court?

That just happened at Agia Napa lol
