You see you answered your own question. A FH that is hit 5m behind the BL cannot be very efficient.

You don;t know what is the strength in Nadal's game despite being a fan of his. You just remember the few points where he finishes with a winning FH and you think that is the reason why Nadal is that good. But you completely disregard the fact that most of Nadal's points, especially key points come from his opponent's UEs.

Nadal's FH strength is the fact it is a very secure shot he can hit all day long. It clears the net and the lines and has enough angle to force a rally, meaning the opponent has the choice to cover some ground, lots of it, or try to pull a winner of it. So what makes Nadal very tough to play is the fact he can go on for ever, not his FH as much.

If you don't understand this basic principle there is not much I can do. I have always been amazed by the fact his fans do not what are Nadal's strengthes and weaknesses. They remember the good points, completely dismissing the rest.

I think Tenez is talking nonsense, the racquet head speed Nadal generates is ridiculous creating both heavy spin and pace, a lethal combination that allows him to attack from positions that no other player can.

Though of course Rosol has the best forehand in the game.

Tenez I want to tell you that I don't like Nadal due to his looks.Yes Nadal is good-looking but I am not his fan due to his looks though he is quite handsome.

I am Nadal's fan but I don't watch all of his matches and I would still like to tell you that as his fan I too am annoyed many times when he plays miles behind baseline but still he has got a very good forehand and there is no question about that!

Federer has got the best forehand in tennis but Nadal forehand is not less good than any other player besides Federer though sometimes his rallying style makes his forehand look less potent but thats due to retreiving style of Nadal and not due to his weak forehand.

I like Nadal's work-rate,his passion for tennis,his never say die attitude and he is quite humble and nice.Nadal has got the best ball-returning ability from impossible and difficult positions and he has really great top-spin shots and he can serve quite effectively.

Nadal's negatives are that he can be really defensive and thats why he has won less matches as he would have won many more if he had stayed positive and more aggressive!

Another positive thing about Rafa Nadal is that he doesn't sit on ja606 24 hours a day and talk cra'p?

Agreed on the firat part and the second part as well but humble and nice only off court.
