I suppose it depends on the translation of iconic and whether they mean iconic or high profile.

Forest icons who are managers would probably include: Keane, Pearce, Nige, O'Neill and possibly Billy. All of these except Pearce and O'Neill know the division well

World iconic could include Redknapp, Scolari, Capello, Maradonna and even Sven. The only one of these with any Championship experience is Sven (oh no)

I think they mean well known and I think the short list is probably McCarthy, Keane, Ferguson, Billy and maybe an outsider - I still haven't entirely given up on Harry though (money talks).

It was interesting that they said that some of the candidates already have clubs so there maybe some manager out there who is frustrated at his current club and would love an opportunity to manage a team with ambition and a bit of cash, Ollie, Warnock (don't know how the investment a Leeds is going) or Nige?

Out of that small list four have managed promotions from this league in recent seasons (three as Champions)- McCarthy, Warnock, Ollie and Keane.
