England - No 1

England = No. 1 side in the world. Yeah good joke.

Graeme Swann = Best spinner in the world. Wouldn't make top 5.

Hoggy I can only go by media reports both were cut and shut spot fixing cases. Once was with no balls and the other was to bowl a poor over that conceded a certain amount of runs.

All players profited with illegal money.

Neon the Pak players are banned from any form of cricket for 5 years.

There was evidence against those 3 from pakistan - don't tell me the Akmals weren't involved, as well as Malik, and a couple of others. I'd be prepared to bet my life at least 3 or 4 more players from the pak team were involved in the spot fixing saga.

Just because they commited the same crime (ie spot-fixing) doesn't mean that the punishments should be the same. The amounts of money involved, the (potential) number of people damaged by their actions etc. all need to be considered, among other things.
Would you punish someone who stole a loaf of bread at knife-point the same as someone who stole millions from a bank with a sawn off shotgun? Both are armed robbery, but I doubt the punishments would be equal, nor would I expect them to be.

Ok if they were all involved, then why were they not punished. ICC handled the case and not PCB so why did it show lenience to certain players and punished the others?

I said there was evidence against the 3 of them, not against the others. They were the main players involved, don't tell me the other team members didn't know what was going on.

and what are your views on Raina, there was some smoke in his case too, wonder if there was any fire as well or not.

In your previous comment, you said Akmal and others were 'involved'. Now you are saying they must be aware! I cant be certain on whether other members of team knew about it or not, but if its the case then we can conclude that Sachin might also know about how Azharuddin was interacting with bookies back in his playing days, isnt it?
