Olympics drawing near

Just seen Murray and Nole having a hit and Robson and Wozniacki too at Wimbledon which is resplendent in purple!

Can't wait for the olympics to start now!

tmf,
it's just the level of manners people have/don't have.
there are things you ask and things you don't ask in a public forum like this. That's why it's good to have PMs.
Elementary, Waston, no?

What, the price of tickets?
I don't think so, disagree. I have seen lots of posters discussing about how you bought the tickets and the prices as well.
Ja does not have PM but the other forums does, kind of freeforum.

Are you saying that Jonty (or me) does not have manners, no? for sure

"how much?" is a very vulgar question, in my opinion. People naturally want to know, but you just don't ask, unless it's some specific kind of scenario where you are interested in buying something.
Jonty knows about the other forum, where we do have PM feature, but he hasn't joined it.

For pity's sake, what is wrong with asking how much a ticket cost?

I had no idea how much the olympic finals tickets were, what's the problem in asking how much they cost???

No problem. Just that I wouldn't've asked.

Unless I wanted to buy one, of course

It's vulgar

Jokes apart, one of my friends asked me to check for the opening ceremony tickets and the min priced tickets are for 1600/-. Do you think any travel agencies might be doing it cheaper in a package deal with hotel?

Jonty, daylight robbery will be too mild a word to explain it. I bought the boxing ticket for 50/- next day it went up to 75/-.
There are no tickets available for tennis. There are deffo some dodgy things going on.

If you're interested in opening/closing ceremonies the Paralympics ones will be just as spectacular but cheaper and more available.
