hunt said on twitter he had a bad back, but would be fit for scotland, apparently Arfield has a twinge too, Ridehalgh is still recovering from the broken foot
as for Joey G , i think hes run out of hair grease and with out it the drag coefficient would be too much for him to play

Sheffield FC are apparently the oldest football club.
They just sd the first ever book of rules at auction for £850k.
Good business if you can get it!

TC - The 50 point plus winning run had to end sooner or later, We didnt turn up, game was lost in the dressing room, The old " just turn up to win attitude" surfaced again.
Who is Matty Crooks ? Kindo are you making a hasty decision ? 2 friendlies ?

Spencer showed lots of strength again in fact he is like a fookin bull on the ball and he made some good runs but didnt get the right ball that a striker needs Minty good player though.
Pabs I aint joking about this lad I saw him 3 times last season as well so thats 5 games and he gets better all the time, he is only 17 I know but he has a great touch, fantastic brain and he is tall and athletic in central midfield role.
His slide rule pass last night at Wrexham was pure quality and you cant teach that vision ! This lad will make it guranteed ! He aint far off what we have now in my opinion but maybe 6 months somewhere would get him challenging, if you get chance check him out.
Thackray is the better of the two trialists with Conor Sellars being the other he is way too small IMO. Thackray however played three positions tonight CB, LB, RM always wants the ball and maybe worth a gamble.
Like I have said before Pearson is good (injured at the mo) Spencer can be very good but Crooks is a different class for his age..

Gotta agree with what Kindo says about Matty Crooks! The lad has lots of energy and really covered the ground well and stood out quite a bit last night!
The lad Sellars does look far too small, he comes up to about McCombes elbow, but the lad can pass a ball really well. He doesn't get stuck in, but players wanted to give him lots of ball and he kept asking for it!
Spencer though is like a bull and holds the ball up so well for such a young lad. Want to see this lad break through this year, but maybe 6 months on loan again wont harm him

Brycey,
Wakefield have had some strange results this season. Having lost virtually all of their squad throughout the administration I fully expected them to get rolled over by big margins every match but somehow John Kears has got the team to pull out some fantastic performances and get some great results, then again we keep on losing to some relative rubbing rags.
There are no easy games in Super League these days. Top can beat bottom at anytime and no-one is that surprised.
Football managers can take a lot from Rugby managers in the way that they get ALL the players working their socks off for the team. Likewise, players can learn a lot from the Supereague players as there is nowhere to hide in Super League.
Imagine a Jordan Rhodes, an Anthony Pilkington, a Gary Roberts or a Michael Collins in Super League.
Even if they could get back into the defensive line in time, they'd be constantly caught offside for not being bothered to retreat 10 yards.

I dont mind Wakey myself TC, I do feel sorry for them at the moment, Yet another clubs finances wasted by a chairman and board that leaves the fans up sheet creek without a paddle.
The people in charge should be held responsible, Not allowed to walk away scott free,
The list is endless -
Luton, Wakey, Plymouth, Stockport, Wrexham, Halifax, etc etc.
