I think Downing had a lot of bad luck last season because during the game I could see him getting several crosses into the box and sometimes we would have 1 player in there. Compare to our rivals who often flood the box causing mistakes by defenders. (look at United at OT, Chelsea at home)

Carroll would lay off to Downing and then just hang around on the edge of the box.

I'm sorry but all it takes is a word from Kenny and this wasn't corrected ALL season.

I'm a manager waiting to happen and I understand that timing a run into the box is important but you need more than one man in there when the ball is delivered.
