Technically Celtic are not "IN" Europe yet, this game is a qualifier to determine if they are good enough to play in a european competition this year. So if things dont go well it could be a long time before Celtic play "IN" Europe as well.
Take this to the next stage and it is feesible Rangers could play "IN" Europe again before Celtic do.
