I really thought Vela would be a star at Arsenal. Any thoughts why he did not really make it ?

System didn't suit him, he was a bit lightweight, and he never took his chances to shine in the league.

He would have been ideal in a 4-4-2. The 4-3-3 didn't suit him, especially at this stage of his career. he was also never given a sustained run in the team to be fair, so he was unlucky
