And where the **** are Di Maria and Ozil? They should both be 88.

You think Di Maria's better than Ribery?

Di Maria is comfortably better than Ribery.

More consistent and more talented.

Ribery is a good player, but he's very up and down. He's never been consistent. He'll have two good games and then two bad games.

You come out with some gems. You really do. But that's one of the best ones.

Di Maria is more consistent? What do you base that on?
He's not even proven. Done f all.

He certainly isn't more talented than Ribery.
Di Maria has a good left foot, yes. But Ribery trumps him in every department bar maybe long range shots and set pieces.

I can't be bothered with your drivel tonight, I'm not in the mood.

Di Maria is far more consistent than Ribery, I base that on watching both players regularly. Di Maria is a better dribbler, faster, stronger, a better crosser of the ball, a better passer etc.

It's not even close tbh.

Ah the old "it's not even close".

Real Madrid vs Bayern? Remember that game? Di Maria was outshined and did f all both legs.
While Ribery was influential in both games. That's what he is a big game player.

As for your far more consistent?
Another baseless idiotic comment.

Di Maria had 15 assists and 5 goals last season. Ribery had 12 assists and 12 goals. Consistent my ass.

As for ability. Ribery is one of the best dribblers in the world. You have no clue.
Lightening. Certainly quicker than Di Maria. And has one of the most sharpest passes around. Di Maria has a better cross though, and free kicks. That's it.

Ribery is a proven world class player.

Lol don't you always tell people not to judges players based on assists? You just can't help yourself, can you hypocrite?

And I'm pretty sure Di Maria had a few injury problems last season, so he must have made less appearances. Plus Ribery plays in a weaker league so it's easier for him to score goals and make assists.

Either way you shouldn't be judging their abilities based on two CL games from last season.

Ribery is more certainly not a better passer than Di Maria. He's not faster either.

95% of people would agree with me on this. Di Maria is clearly better. Make an article using the voting system for people to decide which player they think is better if you want, that'll give you a better idea of how clueless you are.

"Lol don't you always tell people not to judges players based on assists? You just can't help yourself, can you hypocrite?"

Yes. I always do say that.

But I didn't suggest stats should be ruled out completely. Or used to compare ability.

I merely used it to disprove your 'consistency' comment which was false.

Stats do prove that at least. It shows efficiency of a player.
Doesn't separate player's abilities though.

Ah the old "most people would agree with me".

My article count has run out for today. I'll try to post post it up later on today when everyone's back on.

Absolute idiot.

So only assists and goals show how consistent you are? Don't be stupid.

Di Maria is more consistent, clearly. He is better in general play, he's better in possession and at retaining the ball as well, he's not just an out and out winger.
