You couldn't have a quiet word with Arsene then, could you mate?

What he's worth and what we'll get for him are very different.
He's a very good player now. He will be a fantastic player one day. Unfortunately he won't be a Ram by then.
Much to my disgust, we'll lose him for 1 mill and a sell on fee or less.
The best thing Derby can do is tie him down for as long as possible.

Forget giles Barnes, forget Tom huddlestone.... Will Hughes is on a different level to them!
I've played football all my life, and I've watched football since I was 6 so I'm pretty sure I know the game. This lad will go on to play for a top club in the prem 100% he is that good! For a 17 year old, he shows the composure of a Paul scholes (the best midfielder to grace he prem may I add). He makes the game look so easy, and for a young lad to do that at this stage of his young career then he's onto something special.
He would fit into arsenal or Swansea's team tomorrow!

Even our illustrious 'investors' wouldn't be so stupid as to unload him for a million, would they?
WOULD THEY??

Sheepy,
Will Hughes may well be better than the mentioned players, but a long term injury / his ego / external factors could jeopardise his potential and sale value.
Giles Barnes had a great opportunity to become a decent player for Derby County, but he started to believe his own hype, (if rumours are true about the whoosh sound he made when dribbling past players then I'm really not surprised his career stagnated).
Will Hughes at this early age does come across as a level headed kid, it's just a question of the external factors (women, booze, money, agents, the BIG FOUR clubs) that might effect him, cause him to have an ego and for Clough to react to his possibly prime donne attitude.
Time will tell....
He does come across as quality, Michael Owen and Joe Cole were full of quality too but their personal impact on football in latter years hasn't quite matched the early potential.
