Since it looks like we're not going to sign any of the 3 pre-window targets of Luka Modric, Wesley Sneijder or Samir Nasri.. Who will we use/panic buy to strengthen our midfield?
My money is on Lucas Leiva or Gareth Barry!
Man United panic buy?

They very rarely have any inside info when it comes to transfers. Someone starts a rumour, it spreads, a large number of people suddenly place bets, bookies get worried and shorten odds/suspend betting. A couple of years ago they suspended bets on Ribery moving to Liverpool. Means nothing as far i'm concerned.

Just wait that's all we can do but I'm confident.
Sneijder been VERY quiet recently and why do lap of honour ???

Ridiculous OP WUM attempt.
Has SAF EVER made a panic buy in his time at Man United?

I also have a feeling Sneijder will be coming - Fergie using a variety of pychological tactics to scare Inter and/or Sneijder.
Also, despite Mancini saying he hopes to tie up deal for him, i still have not ruled out Nasri coming either - i mean he did say he wanted to win trophies, and not in it for the money, so if he is true to that philosophy, that points to United rather than the lesser Manchester team.....
Maybe have to wait until next summer for him though....

Makini saying he wants Nasri means nothing as the player apparently prefers UTD move.

Inter have said Sneijder is not for sale.
Inter have said they have not received any bids for Sneijder.
Sneijder has TWICE said he wants to stay.
Manchester United have said they are not after him.
From these four facts, you deduct that you ARE signing Sneijder?

CP (CaptainPositive), you seem to jinx every name that comes into being...just tell us who is NOT coming!

Andy Carrolls Ponytail
Look, i know the Liverpool method of signing players is to just pay way over the odds to get their man, but United are not going to be held to ransom and i suspect the club is bargaining discreetly with Inter and Sneijder.
As for players reaffirming their desire to stay at a club; didn't your beloved hero Torres constantly state he was happy at Anfield, and would never join another English club.....
Apparently Macheda tweeted "can't wait to see Sneijder in training", only for it to be taken down.....
£35m for Carroll, compared to £35m for Sneijder......i wonder who is the better piece of business??

Well Carroll has Premier League experience

hehehe, well, i can't argue with that!!
Maybe Sneijder will be another Veron - but we will have to wait and see.......i still feel that there is something afoot, too much talk from both Inter sources and United ones.....
