Anyone else out there think that Voit/Voyt needs to Slap Andy and Frank Schleck for WASTING his gargantuan effort? The man busted a gut, crashed twice and busted a gut again until he was spent. And for what?...
Andy to gain a measely two seconds! After the way the Leopard-Trek team controlled the race and set it all up, there is no way that Frank or Andy should be wearing the yellow jersey or at least within thirty seconds of it. The Schleck's left it far too late to start attacking given that the objective was to drop the NON-CLIMBING yellow jersey holder. Frank was too busy riding for his little brother and Andy was far too busy having staring contests with the riders he should have been busy blowing away up the climb.
If we get to the end of the tour and the Schlecks miss out on the win again then IMO they can look back to today's stage and know that this is the day they lost the tour.

I could understand it if Contador wasn't already almost two mins behind him but I really don't get what on earth Schleck was playing at. He spent the whole raced focused the wrong man. When he attacked and Contador went with him, he just stopped as if Contador was the man in the yellow jersey. He should have just kept going with Contador, there's no way that Voeckler and evans would have been able to stay with them.
But I also think that Leopard-Trek should have all attacked as a team when they were together 1km from the end of the penultimate climb. Waiting until there was only 6km to go on the last climb was far to late. Human stubborness was always going to push Voeckler to stay in touch after staying with them so long. The Schlecks and Leopard-Trek needed to punish him whilst kilometres were still in double figures, the minute he went under 10km, he'd have just set his mind to one thought, "Just stay close and you'll keep the jersey, not far now. Just stay close and you'll keep the jersey, not far now." Andy may be an outstanding rider but he knows nowt about human competetive nature. It's cost him big-time today, I just hope he learns from his stupidity for next year because, short of a miracle in the alps, his chance of winning this years tour, just went out the window.
