He has no obligation to play him. Also has to favour his own players because he cares more about their development than a player who belongs to us. Miyaichi is there as backup and I'm sure he will get some chances as players get tired and injuries occur. The season has only just started you muppet .

maybe Martinez hasn't seen enough in training for Miyaichi to warrant a starting place? Martinez' main aim is always to pick players in the best interest of Wigan FC.

Hopefully Ryo gets his chance eventually though.

i agree he has no obligation to play him, but he isn't even a backup. hes currently in a role he would be at arsenal. the thing is i dont understand why he took him on, when we could have given to a team where he would get game time. this is why we loan our youngsters. just like when we gave him to bolton last season.

But what's done is done so we'll just have to hope he gets a chance at Wigan.

Moses has gone now, he'll probably start quite a bit.

I could be wrong but he just doesn't look like he quite has it for me.
