I'm looking to get pumped and toned up as I'm just an average guy with an average body.
I'm not looking to be no Mr Muscle but I do want some definition.
What I want to know is, is Fitness First a good gym to join to achieve this? I don't really want to go to those local weight lifting gyms because I feel its quite intimidating and your pressured to pump more than you should.
I want to increase mass in my upper body and just as importantly MY LEGS TOO!!!
Are those machines in FF good enough???
Also any diet tips and protein shakes I should take?
As I said I'm not looking to do 5 days a week hardcore training, I just want to do it like 3 times a week at a moderate rate.
Thanks in advance

^Sounds nice.
creatine is broken down into creatinine by the muscle. Serum creatinine can be used as a marker for kidney problems.
Soooooooooooooooooooo if your serum creatinine is raised the doctor will get pretty worried (and rightly so!) so let the poor doc know then they can analyse your results correctly

Ha ha, will have to remember that.
I had a young female doctor today

^Yeh of course I could (by healthy I assume nuts, olive oil etc.)
All of which I eat, but why do you think I eat McDonalds everday?
All I said is I incorporate the foods I enjoy into my macro count. So I don't have cheat/binge days or meals which cause me to "cheat"
Again as I said I'm just illustrating what can be incorporated EVERY NOW AND THEN into a diet while getting the same body composition results.
What have I said that is so radical?
(Again consult a qualified doctor before starting any diet)

The radical part for me is only caring about how you look over your health. For me they are both hand in hand.
Each to their own though.

Diggler
You do know that for many years (and some still believe, including some health care professionals) that the amount of protein consumed by you (and any bodybuilder) increases the risk of kidney failure.
There are some recent studies for and against this theory.
So you yourself can potentially be putting appearance before health.
Tbh I won't post about diet anymore because it seems to rub people up the wrong way.
Also I will only post here if I am directly asked a question.
Lift hard, eat hard and, most importantly for me, study hard!

Thats a fair enough point. Based on your 1g for every 1lb theory (which I have looked into a bit more) I should be taking 154g of protein but on average I take about 60/70g more a day. But I also drink about 3litres of water a day too which flushes the excess apparently.
Anyway, Im really not having a go. I find it very interesting hearing other peoples views on nutrition because I know I havent been doing this very long.
At the minute I do what has worked for me so far but even that has changed over the previous 8 months.
What are you studying?

Diggler tbh I'd rather not say for many reasons.
It's nothing related to bodybuilding though, I just like to be very thorough before starting anything and do some research. But my degree is bloody hard .
If you look up Craig David he has followed the eat clean motto and has got great results and others have followed a more flexible dieting system and got great results as well.
Just goes to show there is more then 1 way to skin a cat (seriously where did that saying originate from )
