Does the idea

by Brendan's 4-3-3 or is it 4-2-3-1 ? (U4004)

of playing Gerrard as a striker sound so ludicrous now?
I cant comprehend it myself but maybe BR gives him the nod along the same vein as converting Downing into a LB ??

He basically played as a shadow striker when Torres was here. I'd love it, particularly as he's not as mobile now, but it won't happen unless there's an emergency.

This is now an emergency... Unless its all a big con for the documentary and we signed someone ages ago and just haven't announced it.

I'm dialling 999 now anyway.

transfers can still be done for a couple of hours after the deadline, like meireles to chelsea..... but I dont think we'll get anyone... its just false hope...

seriously , michael owen is the only striker we could bring in from now until january..... i hope yesil is good enough to play...
