Confirmed XI: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Suarez, Borini, Sterling.
Subs: Jones, Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Shelvey, Henderson, Downing.
Strong starting eleven looking forward to seeing Sahin play. Thought Morgan may have got a place on the bench, ahead of one of the defenders.

Why do we hav three defenders on the bench (two centre backs)?
Where are Morgan or Assaidi? We need a striker!
Bring back Owen!

good starting side but no real attacking options on the bench

We better hope we score first as we have basically nothing on the bench to change the game if we go behind.
Unfortunately that will be the case for a while.
Can only assume Assaidi is not considered fit enough.

That's the team I picked, no messing around just putting the best we have on the pitch.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, speaking on 23 August about his limited options up front: "I need a minimum of three strikers - once the window shuts, that is it until January.
"I have got Luis Suarez, Fabio Borini and Andy Carroll. So I would need to be a nutcase to even consider at this moment letting Andy Carroll go out, unless there are other solutions for that."

Felliani
BR has been let down. I hope that doesn't lead to him walking away. But we have signed Yesil.

He was promised a striker Fellaini, Ayre didn't deliver, disappointing.

Phil, Anfield, via text: "'Tragedy' by Steps just came on over the Anfield PA system - an excellent commentary on the Reds transfer policy."
However if he can get Borini (sp) getting 20 then Brendan will have done a fine job
