Anfield

Ahem.

WAKE THE HELL UP!!!!

The team and Brendan are going to need the full support of the Anfield crowd at home this season. If I had the money to get there which I don't have anywhere near enough, I would be shouting my nads off in every game non stop.

COME ON ANFIELD!!!

Well said Fred

Agree with Fred, they need to wake up. There's too many touristy fans nowadays

Watching on the telly (I know not the best way to judge an atmosphere) Anfield doesn't strike me as an intimidating place for the opposition. The Hearts fans were much louder on Thursday there.

it was definately a case of after the lord mayors show-
its easy to get the adrenaline flowing when the city machine roars into town ,but v a non trophy winning business model its all a bit tame

I was there last week and it was buzzing. Today not so much, even at 0-0. Some of them need to wake up, there's fans who just sit down all game and don't join in or anything. They may as well just be sitting at home. Or sell there ticket to people who will actually sing

Went to Afield last season to watch Liverpool beat and outplay Bolton.
However, the atmosphere from the home support was muted to say the least.
The number of home games drawn and lost could be in part due to the oppressive feeling the players get from their own fans, scared of making mistakes inevitably leading to mistakes.

I can guess why it wasn't buzzing this weekend.

We didn't get what we were promised on Friday, a viable replacement for Carroll. I reckon the fans didn't expect much, and so it followed.

Right now the whole thing is a mess. Not much to cheer about right now, is there?

Just on my way back from the game, I think I agree, not much to cheer about currently.

Vocal support should come under all circumstances, unfortunately its been missing quite a lot at Anfield in recent years. Lost its mojo, we only sing when we are winning. A sign of the ongoing fallout from the H&G era, everyone is cheesed off.
