Definitely a great advert for the women's game.

Despite the importance of the game (and don't tell me these players didn't take it any less seriously than their male counterparts in the real World Cup), the intensity and passion, the match was played hard but at all times fair. The officiating was excellent (only serving to highlight the poor standard in the EPL) and diving, simulation and time-wasting was only conspicuous by their absence.

Well Done Japan and well done USA for contributing to a fantastic finale to an excellent tournament.
