I've hardly posted over the last couple of days as I needed some time away from the football.
But that's it ! I can't hold back any longer, so here it goes
HOW DARE the owners save our club from financial jeapordy.
HOW DARE they rid the club of debt.
HOW DARE they bring back a manager that the fans asked for!
HOW DARE they reinvest over 100 million back into the playing squad !
HOW DARE they rival City and Chelsea in terms of squad reinvestment !
HOW DARE they secure the most lucrative sponsorship/manufacturing deals in the clubs 120 year history.
HOW DARE Mr Henry directly answer questions and be brutally honest about the stadium plans and transfer dealings.
I'm sure you're all thinking that my article headline was me intentionally being misleading. Actually, it's simply incomplete.
So let me finish my headline properly
The Owners Should Walk... back into Anfield with their heads held high

I'm guessing, the critics will use the lack of stadium as an example, yet Henry only recently cited the ability to generate extra revenue through sponsorship is far more cost effective than a new stadium.
What fans seem to ignore is that a new stadium will generate little by way of extra profit for at least 15 years.

People must remember that the rot has been setting in for a few years so why they think it can be addressed so quickly is beyond me.
Support the manager and we'll make it, i'm confident of that.

I went to the City game and to be honest, the atmosphere was great.
Watched the Arsenal one on telly and it was strangely subdued. I suppose Arsenal can take some credit for that.

Good article. I would have went into this season with a lot of optimism if we'd kept Carroll. Now I'm simply hoping for progress in the league and a good summer window.

TOOR, the more I think of it, the more I believe that tiredness played a part on Sinday. Especially when you consider the Hearts game 3 days previously. So I
To not all doom and gloom, nor should it be. Arsenal, full marks, gave the team a lesson on pas and move, especially in the last 15 minutes. jimmyTheRed
