liverpool fc have , on only one occasion in the last three seasons won 3 games in a row in the premiership (i may be incorrect but its no more than a few times)

LOl,lets not kid ourselves,the squad is devoid of regular match winners,which all top teams need,we're miles behind,unless proper quality is brought in soon,we'll be even further behind.
JWH and co are hoping FFP will change things,but until then,we'll be battling it out with the likes of sunderland,newcastle,everton,and stokes of this world.

Last season Brendan Rodgers got Swansea to 11th with a far weaker squad than at his disposal at Liverpool.
Really only Allen (who he's brought with him) Sigurdsson (who got greedy) and Worm (who I'm praying we sign next summer) would have improved Liverpool.
I don't share the silly signing on optimism of Sahin but nor would I be wringing my hands as yet.
I would think fighting for 5th (behind the Manchesters, Arsenal, Chelsea) with Spurs, Everton and Newcastle is still very much on the cards.
