Suso To Get Chance

Brendan has said he is prepared to give Suso a chance in the first team this season after being left short in attacking options

Personally I think this is great news as he is a tremendous talent but I was always worried he would become disillusioned at life in Liverpool if he didn't get game time and want to return back to Spain.

Not entirely sure if he means in the midfield 3 or attacking 3 (more likely) but either way it's sure to get Liverpool fans a bit more excited.

Young Suso has been quoted as saying he likes the Premiership and that's why he came to England. He feels more suited to the English game. Great stuff.

Ah, not so fast there, sailor. Hold your horses.

Hi Kemlyn, was just messin' with clichés - thanks for your warm reply.

Only been to Liverpool once myself, but had a great time and don't have a single bad word about the place. My brother's lived there for about 30 years now - magic dust or Welsh witchcraft, I don't know, my brother normally blames the latter.

Me, I was seduced by a Cadiz girl. My eldest was born there and has become a staunch Cadiz fan even though he only lived there for the first week of his life. I love the place.

P.S. Stayed a couple of weeks this summer very close to Bilbao - countryside between Munguia and Plentzia, familiar with it? My first trip up there but definitely a place worth getting to know better. Loved the area up around Mundaka.

Steady, you're making me nostalgic. Oh God....Spanish girls. They're so down to earth and unaffected.

Met a Cadiz girl in London a little while back, as it happens. Entertainingly weird accent (but who am I to talk?).

No, just the city, really. Been a couple of places up-river,, but don't remember the names of them. Gorgeous, though.

I like post-industrial places. There's a warmth, and a gritty kind of beauty when they're scrubbed up a bit. The way it's set in the hills, etc.

Love the beer, the pinchos,. and the people are so laid back and open, and cool. They make you feel like you're a local

Went to a game at the San Mames. Close-knit, passionate. .

Never been to a game in Bilbao, but 'The Cathedral' is probably the most charismatic ground in La Liga. Don't know when you went last, but they're building the new San Mames adjacent to where the current one stands - I think they're going to preserve the main end - the one with the old architechture.

I like places that you can sense have seen better days. Lisbon's got a fantastic feel to it.

Yeah, saw them building it last time I went. Hope it's not soulless.
Gotta go. Really nice talking to you.
