Different Philosophy?

I think everyone must be starting to have a bit of doubt about McCoist's ability as a manager now.

The guy is a club legend, and his efforts over one of the most difficult periods in the clubs history have only strengthened this status.

Could it be an idea to move McCoist into a position on the board or another tier of management, and bring in a whole new form of coaching team?

Im thinking a coaching team from abroad who can teach Rangers to play in a more modern style than the standard Scottish hoof it and run approach.

Since we have a ban on signing players for a year or 18 months, whatever it is. Now is the perfect time to bring guys in who can work with youth and develop them.

With a good forward thinking coaching set up, we should be able to both comfortably win our way up the leagues whilst developing a team capable of playing in the more modern style.

We might have to pay to get this, but it could be looked at as an investment as we should then be able to both save in future transfer fees, and begin to sell players developed by our youth once they decide they want a move to the EPL or other cash rich leagues.

Celtic have actually had a fairly good record in this area in the recent times with folk like Forrest, McGeady and the youngsters they have brought in and developed. They could also use the next few years to try and improve on this even further, whilst not having to have the 'must beat the other half of the old firm' pressure.

You can moan about the 2nd QOS goal being offside if you like but the last time Rangers put QOS out of the Scottish Cup at Palmerston, both the Rangers goals looked clearly offside to all but the ref and the Rangers team & support.

Who's moaning about the refs? We aren't Celtic. They would be calling for ref sackings right now and creating a ref strike.
