Arsenal Win and CL Recap

Good afternoon/good evening my fellow Gooners! We won! But we won "ugly" so we didn't "win" like we were supposed to "win" even though we "won". Make sense? Good...well at least that's what Sky is saying and Talk Shiite will say all day tomorrow. Winning 2-1 at the defending French Champions is no easy task. I'll agree that we rode our luck in the 2nd half, but that's football. Sometimes you get a little luck and sometimes you don't. Overall I was happy with the performance, but we did look a little lackluster towards the end. It was almost like we were just waiting for the whistle to blow. Now on to the rest of the CL....

PSG looked good in their first match back in Europe's top competition. Granted they weren't playing a real top side, but 4-1 at home against Dynamo Kyiv isn't a bad score line. Schalke got a win at home so we're level on points. I didn't catch much of it, but I know "The Hunter" missed a penalty early on. AC MIlan drew at home to Anderlecht. What the hell has become of the great Milan? They're in trouble...big big trouble. Malaga looked bright in their first game. Is their anyway Santi could convince Isco to join him in London? 2 goals for the attacking mid tonight against Zenit. Our opponents on Sunday pulled an "us". What do I mean? Well they played alright, the pundits are gushing over them, but they still lost. Last time I checked, a loss gets you 0 points....but apparently lots of love. Unlike us...who won...but we won "ugly" so we didn't "win" like we were supposed to "win" even though we "won" and now have 3 points.

Looking forward to Sunday up at the Etihad. I think we've got a good chance. It isn't like their defence is watertight right now. COYG!
