White hart lane atmosphere

Is at a critical all time low. What has happened to that place?

After I wrote an article having a go at chelseas pathetic lot then it seems we are just as bad.

New stadium could improve things with the special roof and the big one tier stand like Dortmund but I mean it's a joke at the moment.

Last night was dire although I know it was only the Europa league.

Now I understand the need for corporate prawn sandwhich people but it would be nice to have a ground where more than 20% of the crowd actually get behind the team

West stand is a write off

The Paxton upper is good for moaning only. Paxton lower can be good.

East stand apart from the proper shelf part is useless

Park lane is quality.

I sat east upper last night purely for a change. And one idiot told me that if I wanted to sing I should "fackkk off back to the park lane". Needless to say that didn't go down to well and I ended up getting a telling off from the stewards for my language when replying to that

Maybe away games only is the way to go. After all, real support is dead

RIP White Hart lane.

I'm hoping to try to get to my first game at the Lane after Christmas (as I live in Ireland I've never been) and I'd love to go to a section with a bit of atmosphere and singing, what section would you recommend I try get tickets for on general sale?

Chronic, I appreciate last night was only lower park lane, but as I said, why are they in the park lane at all? You see it in cup matches where away fans have a higher allocation, they have a massive chunk of the park lane. Can you imagine Liverpool handing over the kop to the away fans? Not on your nelly

Saw a bunch of empty seats on the TV last night. Why the hell weren't tickets released on general sale a day or so before the game?!
I cancelled my Bronze membership as it's renewal coincided with moving house so needed the dough so it's my own fault but that really p issed me off

It's simple, the more succesfull you become the fewer "big" games you have. It is easy for a crowd to be up for it when it is a "big" game, they are just harder to come by.

You realy think a new stadium will end up with a better atmosphere? Has all this time of trying to be Arsenal not taught you anything?

We watched arsenal build a stadium that looks nice but is a terrible football arena. Levy Said that atmosphere is a priority in the design of the new stadium. Hence the special roof to reflect sounds

And that "Kop" standing section.

The reason the atmosphere at the Emirates is crap is because the tickets are a rip off and only the corporate fat cats can afford them. It's no coincidence the best atmospheres are during league cup matches. Spurs' new stadium won't be any different. Your tickets are already pretty expensive as things are, it will only get worse once you have a massive stadium debt to pay off.
