Can Posh use their win against Hull as a springboard for a win against Barnsley? I think so - 2-1!?!

Great result. It looks like we have turned the corner. Early goals and then we retained control.
P.S. Thanks, TF, for the Foxes win against Huddersfield. Our turn to do you a favour with a win on Saturday against the Florists!

I did say 'hopefully'
Posh fully deserved their win, despite yet another joke of a referee, and could've had at least another couple of goals before the end of the first half before settling down and defending efficiently in the second half. How they lost their first 7 games I will never know as they looked organised and played as a solid unit for the entire game.
As for us, we were completely and utterly useless and yet again we played like c-units against a team that we were favourites to beat. I think from now on every time we come up against a team that's below us I'm just going to write the game off as a loss, much like our players and manager seem to do. We improved marginally in the second half after one of the worst opening halves I've seen us play, and were denied a clear penalty for the second game in a row when one of their players handballed on the line. Harewood then failed to connect with a superb cross when the ball was planted right onto his massive head. Stones and Cywka seemed to be the only players with any desire to get into the box, Mellis' creativity deserted him this game and thus Davies cut a forlorn figure up front, and the less said about the defence the better, other than they were at fault for two of the most ridiculously, hilariously soft goals you will ever witness.
No we can't win them all, but 1 point from 6 against the bottom 2 teams isn't good enough, and constantly losing against teams on bad runs is beginning to grate a bit. Oh well, all will be well and good again if we beat the Weeds next week. Well done Posh, play like that most games and you'll stay up without a doubt
