Good evening all on this wet Autumnal night
Tonight, our wildly inconsistent 'heroes' will pit their wits against the third biggest sports club in all of Leeds, Leeds United FC. In yet another 'Roses match'. One day, Yorkshire hopes to have a club in the top division of football, but it probably won't be this one, and if it is, lets hope they become famous for being something other than the dirtiest team in England.
Odds for tonight's game
Wanderers win Evens
The Draw 12/5
Massive Leeds United 11/4
Here are our predictions for the game. Bear in mind that every single one of us was wrong on Saturday. A very even split between the outcomes tonight, especially for a home game.
Wanderers win 10
The Draw 8
Massive Leeds United win 6 <---- I still think if this happens Coyle will go
Did you know?
Leeds is the home of Leeds Rhinos, one of the best rugby league clubs in the land, Leeds Carnegie, a decent rugby union team, and Yorkshire County Cricket Club, one of the biggest cricket clubs in the country. None of these teams have attained success by kicking everyone.

CC - Test-acles!!! Look at the Why? thread. If you had been subjected to that, you would have actioned it. I didn't even comment, because I am so relaxed about this sort of nonsense,
We have played 'woefully' twice this season.
We have played poorly another once.
The rest have been a mixed bag, with some good performances and some indifferent performances!!

Anyway, why have you, MT, HH and all the other Bolton fans stopped playing the Prediction Comp???? Out of 12 there is only 3 of us left!!!

We stopped winning when he came back into the side, he scored a few, but the same problems I highlighted up there arose then, arose before hand, and continue to happen now. We won't see an improvement before we take the non-footballer, no matter what his club status is, out the first 11.
I thought he was horrendous tonight, and has been in the majority of games I've seen him over the last 2 years or so. He limits our play, and loses possession far too easily. Yeah he's scored a few headers, but we cannot afford to rely on getting 30 free kicks or corners a game to give us a chance of winning. In open play we are really struggling, anyone accepting that as a 'good' performance from him and the team, has drastically lowered their standards and expectations IMO.

i like to see my forwards score goals.so far only skd is doing this.what are the combined goal tally of afobe/sordell/ngog this season?is it one goal?sordell has not been in the team/on the bench this season for a reason.ngog still probably the best we have got but hes not going to score goals at any level and hes not helping his cause by ducking out of games.however the main problem with this team is stopping goals not scoring them.get this defensive coach in now oc.

Well I stopped as we only seem to get results when I don't predict. Plus the fact I've still never ever got a first scorer correct, which is frankly annoying.
Also a recurring theme this season is that we have a shed load of chances, fail to take them, panic or if we do score sit back, concede.
This may sound crazy but balls to the defence - the best form of defence is attack and once it's sorted out the better.

By playing Davies, we are both limiting our teams potential, no movement up top means we will create nothing from open play, and also halting the development of Ngog and Sordell. Sordell has a 1 in 3 record in the championship, playing for a poor side, and only being 21.

HH, it gets lumped up front whoever is there. Otherwise your logic is fine.

Maybe a change in manager will give Sordell a chance

A change of manager would hopefully see that yes.
Our players have ability, but our better players are on the bench, or being bypassed to Davies.
We played better and gained more points when Davies was dropped last season, same would happen again.

We have a top 4 squad and sit 17th. We also deserve to be 17th
